Excessive barking, specially when it’s late at night, can annoy the most patient person. Nevertheless, barking is a great advantage when we want our pet to function as a guard dog as well. We mean for the dog to protect our homes from strangers that try to break into them. These are times when we would be glad to hear our dog bark. In addition, dogs bark to let us knows of their needs in a non-verbal way, much like babies do.
All this is well and good, but sometimes our dogs bark for no reason at all. For instance, they bark at things that move, like toys, or worse, at our guests and relatives. If your dog has a problem with barking you will not want to leave him like that. Barking is the only way a dog has to communicate his needs or express himself, and eliminating barking completely is a health hazard for your pet, so remember to use the anti bark collar only in situations where barking is bothersome.
