Does he cuddle up or is he given to sprawling all over the place? For the former type of sleep habit you should pick cuddler dog beds while for the latter type you would require giving him a large mat.

After all a small dog would only need a small doggy bed, while larger dog breeds such as the German Shepherd, or Great Dane, will need a substantially bigger and more sturdy dog bed.
